Imagine being taken from your home and where you live and having to adapt to a new life style. Malala is a young girl who lives in Pakistan standing up for Girls education in Pakistan, and the roles that women play in her society. Because she is standing up for girls in a society where they are treated like half a person, she is shot in the face by the Taliban. She meraceralesly survives and is transported to a hospital in England where she is taken care of. It is hard for Malala to adapt to a new environment where the way of life is so much different.

Malala's time in England shows how difficult it is to adapt to a new environment. The first thing that made it hard for her was the difference of lifestyle. An example of a difference in lifestyle is the amount of protection, in her valley there is a lack of authority and an increase of terrorism, including the Taliban. Malala was a victim of their terror. The second Reason why it is hard for her to adapt is her absent family.After the incident she was imported to England without her close family. She was alone and in a terrible condition. The last reason it was hard for her to adapt was difference in technology. Because this was in a modern time England is more advanced in technology.

Alone, hurt, confused, and mad would describe the feelings that the brave symbolic girl felt.  This shows that adapting to a new environment is difficult. Imagine how you would feel if you were put in another country without your family or any support.
